The City of Woodbranch Village is a great place to live and raise a family. Located in Montgomery County our City is just minutes north of the City of Humble, where you can find all of the necessary amenities such as dinning, movie theaters, banking establishments, mall shopping, Kingwood Medical Center, Memorial Herman Northeast Medical Center and Lone Star Community College. We are proud to have the small town community feel and encourage our citizens to get involved in their community and city government.
The City of Woodbranch Village was incorporated in 1967 and is a deed restricted community. We are a Type A general law city that operates under the aldermanic plan of government, each member serving terms of 2 years. The City holds a general election annually for vacant Mayor and Councilmember positions. Our City Council meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
The City of Woodbranch Village is proud to have a Police Department to provide 24 hour coverage to our citizens. This along with our City Hall and Municipal Court offices operate out of our newly erected City Hall building. The building was designed to insure our citizens have a safe place to weather out any storm. We also host functions in our large meeting room, anything from Garden Club meetings, regular meetings of council, municipal court proceedings, city and county elections. Our building is also available for lease, to the public, for celebratory events.
The City of Woodbranch Village offers nature trails, nature parks and access to Peach Creek via a small beach, great for lounging or picnicking.
